Rickey Henderson Hall of Fame Speech

Rickey Henderson and Jim Rice were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday July 26th. Henderson holds many records including runs scored (2,295), steals (1,406), lead-off homers (81) and unintentional walks (2,129)and most steals in one season (130). Henderson is now 50 years old. Here is part of his speech :

“My journey as a player is complete. I am now in the class of the greatest players of all time, and at this moment I am very humbled.”
